Becky Vogel, Legal Assistant

Becky assists in Medicaid planning and implementation.  She is passionate about assisting our clients in protecting as much of their assets as the law allows.

Becky serves as a member of the advisory board at North River Health Campus.  She serves as a community educator with the Alzheimer’s Association.  Additionally, she volunteers her time each week to deliver meals for SWIRCA’s Meals on Wheels of Southwestern Indiana program.

Becky enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Sam and Avery.  They love taking walks, playing tennis, traveling, spending time together, and taking the family dog, Charlie, out for a drive.

Bridget Williams, Paralegal

Bridget is a lifelong resident of Evansville’s west side.  She graduated from Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies.  Bridget enjoys learning everything she can about law.

Bridget has three children.   When she’s not working,  she enjoys spending time with her family.

Elise Merrill, Legal Assistant

Elise is a member of our asset protection team.  Elise graduated with her BS in Health services from University of Southern Indiana.  She previously worked as a caregiver on a dementia care unit for ten years and really enjoys working with older adults and their families.  Outside of work she likes to read, be outdoors, and volunteer in the community.

Gracie Strange, Legal Assistant

When clients come to the law office of Glenn A. Deig, they will be impressed with the knowledge and efficiency Gracie Strange demonstrates in handling their estate planning documents and providing notary services.

Gracie is originally from Spencer County, so she’s a Southern Indiana girl. She graduated from Indiana State University Evansville (now University of Southern Indiana) with a B.S. in history. In addition, she has an Activity Director certification for adults / gerontology.  Gracie, along with spouse Lynn Kinkade, has been active in local theater and the arts for many years.

C. Lynn Kinkade, Legal Assistant

C. Lynn Kinkade served as managing artistic director of Evansville Civic Theatre prior to his retirement in 2011. In his first retirement job, he worked as a direct service professional for Four Rivers Resource Service and Apex Behavioral Services, taking intellectually disabled adults out into the community. He currently serves as a second witness on estate planning signings at Deig Law, with his wife, Gracie Strange. A native of Indianapolis, Lynn is a graduate of Indiana University, and a Vietnam veteran.

Katherine Sweeney, Office Manager / Legal Assistant

Katherine is our office manager and is a member of our asset protection team.  She was a born and raised west sider.  She graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Project management. She has three beautiful girls; her oldest is a freshman at Reitz! Go Big Blue!  When she’s not working, Katherine loves doing yard work and anything else outside.  She’s a country girl at heart, so if it involves fishing, 4‑wheeling, or shooting, she’s ready to go!

Matt Deig, Legal Assistant

Since 2009, Matt’s responsibilities at the law office of Glenn A. Deig have centered around asset protection for clients who need assistance to remain home, or are are headed to, or already in, nursing homes or assisted living facilities.  He develops and implements plans that result in clients qualifying for Medicaid coverage to help pay for that care while still preserving as much of their assets as the law allows.

He is passionate about helping others, whether it is job related or otherwise. He currently serves as a member of the advisory council at the Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging (SWIRCA); he has served as a member of the council since 2017.  He is a co-founder of the “Humans of Evansville” Facebook page. He is also the host of River City Mystery Podcast. He says that this experience has given him the opportunity to meet and learn about people from all walks of life in the Evansville area.

April Wilson

April, our receptionist, is responsible for greeting clients, answering the phones, scheduling appointments, and creating a comfortable environment for our clients here at the office.

She was born and raised on the westside. She dedicated many years raising her 4 children.  She has experience in customer service and is always ready to learn more for our clients.   She is an avid reader and enjoys spending her time crafting and with family.
